A dealer, not a marketplace.
COFFRE began with a simple observation: the pieces worth owning are rarely the ones most loudly advertised. Each item here is acquired individually, examined in person, and recorded before it is offered — never bought in lots, never drop-shipped, never listed by someone who has not held it.
That way of working sets a ceiling on volume. We keep a small number of pieces at any one time, and when a piece is sold it is gone rather than restocked. What is left is a list short enough to know by heart.
Why no prices
A published price invites a comparison that ignores condition, year, hardware and provenance — the things that actually determine what a piece is worth. We would rather answer each enquiry in writing, with the specific piece in front of us.
It also keeps the catalogue out of the hands of people who are not the intended buyer. Prices are quoted privately, and only in Telegram.
How to see the selection
